A new version of Boomerang Studio has just been released with two improvements: the ability to import 2D boomerang images as backgrounds so you can reproduce them more easily in the design tool, and the ability to define the size of the blade tip radius:


--> Background Image Import (2D Plan)

Import a 2D boomerang plan image as a background to help you reproduce existing designs with precision.

How to Use

  1. In the Design tab (Tab 1), locate the "Background Image (2D Plan)" section
  2. Click  Load Image to select an image file (PNG, JPG, etc.)
  3. The image appears behind your boomerang model in the 2D view



--> Rounded Tips Percentage

Control how much of the blade tip is rounded using a percentage-based parameter.

How to Enable

  1. In the Design tab (Tab 1), enable the "Rounded Tips" checkbox
  2. A new slider appears: "Round Tip Percentage"
  3. Adjust the percentage (1% to 50%) to control the rounded area
